Overall the university was given a score of "D" but last year the university scored a "D+" Breaking the data down the university scored an "F" in the categories of green buildings, transportation, endowment transparency and shareholder engagements. The only passing areas where in investment priorities which scored a "A" and student involvement which scored with a "C." KRBC did contact media relations at the university for a response to the report card and the university declined to comment. Twelve schools were ranked in Texas with Rice University scoring the highest with a "B". The other school ranked were Baylor University, University of Houston, Southwestern University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Texas A&M University, University of Texas-Austin, University of Texas-Dallas, Trinity University, and Texas Tech University.
